Curb-to-Curb Transportation Service

Please note: During this Covid-19 Pandemic, LCCS will only be providing medically necessary transportation services (i.e. dialysis clients and those with medical procedures that have been deemed necessary by your physician).  All other transportation services will be suspended for a minimum of two weeks or until further notice.

Lake County Community Services offers curb-to-curb demand response transportation services for individuals with disabilities and the elderly.  If you live in central and southern Lake County, we can give you a ride.  Call us at (219) 663-3869

Service areas include Cedar Creek, Center, Eagle Creek, Hanover, Hobart, Ross, St. John, West Creek or Winfield Townships of Lake County and the city of Griffith in Lake County.

You can call us to schedule a reservation.  Reservations for trips must be made 48 hours (2 business days) in advance and no further than two weeks in advance and will be scheduled based on bus availability.

Fees: General Public: $7 each way; Seniors/Persons with disabilities: $5 each way (unless otherwise subsidized)

Payment Forms Accepted: Cash and/or Check; Monthly invoicing also available.

Accessibility: All vehicles are equipped with wheelchair lift.
